Janeé Kassanavoid promotional video

Recently, I had the idea to produce a promotional video for Janeé Kassanavoid, a professional hammer thrower, as she prepared for the 2022 outdoor track and field season. I pitched the idea to Janeé and she agreed to it. I spent a few days shooting her during several training sessions. Once we had enough shots, I edited the video together and gave it to her on February 23 just four days before she competed in the women’s weight throw during the USATF 2022 Indoor Championships at The Podium in Spokane, Washington. Janeé won the event with a throw of 24.28 meters.
