Recently, I photographed the K-State Career Cat Luncheon on April 29, 2014. The event, hosted by K-State’s Student Services and Career and Employment Services, is a series of workshops that includes resume writing, dressing for success, mock interviews, and dining etiquette.
The workshops conclude with the C. Clyde Jones Career Cat Luncheon. Student-athletes meet with several employers for the opportunity to ask questions, network, and practice their interview skills.
Student athletes have earned internships and jobs with companies such as RTS Financial, the FBI, ConocoPhillips, Koch Industries, the Kansas City Chiefs, the Kansas Highway Patrol and others.
