I was privileged to photograph the Downtown Council of Kansas City’s Urban Heroes Awards reception at The Folly on December 13, 2012 and Annual Luncheon at the Grand Ballroom in Kansas City, Missouri on December 14. The DTC is a nonprofit organization that promotes and markets the revitalization of Kansas City, Missouri’s downtown business and housing districts.

The theme for this year’s luncheon was “Vision for a Downtown Arts Campus” which highlighted the DTC’s plans to attract musicians, dancers and artists to downtown Kansas City, Missouri.
