Recently, I photographed Peggy Noland at her store in Kansas City, Missouri for a portrait session. Peggy is fun, genuine and amazingly creative. She is an art teacher, a fashion designer and a business woman. Her small space is wallpapered with thousands of stuffed animals. Twice a year, she changes the display theme of the store. Once, she covered the walls, ceiling and floor with cotton so it resembled a cloud. Although people may enter her store to see the decorations, they leave after buying her clothes. Her unique styles are selling well enough that she opened her second store in Berlin, Germany three months ago.
